Hey guys just wanted to let you know that I just ordered the new Pioneer in dash navigation unit model Avic F90BT. I got this unit for a hell of a deal. If anyone wants one I highly recommend this site. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_13353_Pioneer+Premier+AVIC-F90BT.html I got the unit, free double din dash kit, free wiring harnes and the interface for the steering wheel controls for $849.98 with free shipping. I just went to a local car audio shop the other day and this particular unit sells for $1199.00. It has some really cool features. I will keep you guys posted with pics once I get it installed.

Sick dude, i was thinking of buying it, but i knew someone was going to buy it and install it, i just want to see pictures of that aftermath !!

If i like, I Buy :)

Volume on the steering wheel .. Media button, Mute
Stock wiring harness will not work on any aftermarket radio, so you have to buy a different harness, thus what he's talkin about.

nah.... just get the AVIC-Z3

Much classier looking.
Naw that's about all. The Avic Z3 doesn't come with built in bluetooth. You have to buy the separate adapter and also you have to buy the ipod cable. It also doesn't have an USB port. All of the above features are included with the Avic F90BT model which is a Priemer model and the Z3 is not. Besides a bigger screen and built in hard drive which to me isn't nothing, I think I made a better choice.

Now you guys got me thinking about putting a screen in my car. :p I like the factory system well enough but I love using the steering wheel controls and figured there weren't any aftermarket units that could utilize them. Is there an aftermarket place that makes these or are they proprietary to the manufacturer of the head unit?

You're gonna get pics when it's installed right?

Sure I am. I can't leave you guys hanging. I'll be sure to post some good pics for you guys and information.

to keep the streeing wheel controls you need to get this google pac they have a kit for every car i used to have it in my g35 but i never got it for the lincoln bc it didnt bother me that much
