so there are alot of threads out there (i saw one earlier today) but none of them specifically talk about this issue i have... avics are compatible with pioneer disc changers.. my 2000 ls has a changer in the glove box as most do.. what i'm wondering is if i bought the pioneer changer in the link below would i be able to fit it in the glove box or am i better off sticking it next to the L7s? also anybody know how hard it is to hook up the rear view on this system?

Here is the changer i want...

cant answer the question about the changer size, but I can say that I've driven a couple of CARS with the rearview camera. In honesty, it's a waste. You end up looking through the wide mirrors, rearview mirror, and rear glass more than watching the tiny monitor.

I have the basic parking sensors that beep along with the display for the beeps that tell the distance from "impact". I never look at the display, but rather have grown used to simply listening to the intensity of the beeps to know when to stop.

IN short, the rear view camera is very useful in a SUV or truck, but doubt youd actually use it in real life, in a car.

Im not exactly sure if that changer will fit, it probably can with some fabrication at most.

The great thing with the avic D3 however is the ipod interface. You can have your entire music library in you glove box and navigate it from your screen. I bought my ipod just for this because i figured it wasnt worth all the work to get a new cd changer to fit and work with the D3, then having to continually burn new cds all the time didnt make sense to me. Did i mention if you have an ipod video that it will play through the D3?? the reasons kept adding up.

Just another possiblity to think about. :)
