If they are under 100$, preferably closer to 50$ i say give them a try. If they are over 100$ thats almost 1 snow tire for the rear.

I run Yokohoma Avid TRZ tires. they have been decent in the snow. still have issues hear and there.

That's funny cause over the phone they said that each purchase is a Pair of Autosocks. I believe the demonstration in that video was a bit "up with hot air"

By the time I got around to going to the tire store, I too, ran into the back-ordered Blizzak syndrome. Although they tried to sell something 'just-as-good' I went home and put on my original rims with a set of well-used, but not worn out, Michelin Pilot all-season 17s. The change was dramatic. P-2s are not for snow. And although there seems to be a big deal made of the difference in tread compound, I personally believe it's of minuscule effect.

FYI I am in a massage room all day far from my phone, so no heads up of snow. I don't live in Seattle, I live on the eastside next to Microsoft. And in 35 YEARS!!!!!! it's never been this bad. Normally we don't get bad snow until february. did i mention I tried ordering those :q:q:q:qin blizzaks before the snow actually hit?

And walk to work..yeah..I'm going to walk 3miles to work..do 7-8hrs of massage IF THEY EVEN SHOW and then walk back in the same weather, where it's 2ft deep and cars sliding everywhere and possibly into pedetrians....

....smooth logic...buck-o
 
Not making any money and getting kicked out of your place for not paying the rent and getting your car repo'd makes tons more sense lol....

I make 5000 a month net, rent is only 1500
I have 4000 dollars in stocks, silver, and gold
I got 4780 in the bank


I think that's enough to survive on for not getting my car destroyed, towed, possibly injuring myself, and what's the point of going to a MASSAGE job where I rely on commission when EVERYONE is stuck in 2-3ft of snow? What's the point?

Only thing that pissed me off was I couldn't go to the gym for 1.5weeks so once new years hit I'm having to spend 2-3hrs every wed,fri,sat, and sun. til I get back into gear.


Btw, none mentioned above is not in any way of being conceited, just proving the point not to go to work.....
 
Ya, i'm just glad I'm not spokane right now cause they got up to 6ft of snow and Right now Cities are being completely evacuated due to surges of flooding and even entire freeways being shut down.

Some crazy :q:q:q:q..luckily no more snow here except on the lawns....now i just gotta deal with your everyday retarded drivers.....

This guy should take the advice everyone's been giving him. Buy snow tires for your stock wheels. I have winterforce's that were about 120 each (mounted & balanced) from my local tire shop. That, along with 300 pounds of qwikrete in the trunk, and the LS becomes very capable in the snow. You're going to be removing these wheels when you get 19's, right? Then you'll leave the 19's on til winter, right? Snow tires are the best move.

How much does it cost to get tires siped? That's all blizzak's are. Siped snow tires. I've never checked the price of getting it done to regular snow tires.

Funny how I've already told you guys that snow tires are backordered. Shame you don't listen, I can afford them, you think they are in stock? NO

And yes I make that much a year rubbing microsoft, amazon, Seahawks, UPS, and locals at my clinic. Only if it was my own business working my same amount of hours at a startard pay. I'd be making 10000 a month. But I've only been a massage therapist for 2 years so I don't want to jump into anything too serious yet.

And yes...I wrote SEATTLE as my city, same with my myspace. Why? Ptrotecting identity....people go to the right city, show the right picture around..then BANG...you got a person who hates or stalks you right outside your door.

My age...I believe it has been 22 since I joined. Can't you see where it says my birthday on my profile? 1986 man.......

Sh*t, for the cost of stinky snow socks Ill send my 17"blizzaks off my Highlander. Shhh, they actually turned out to be not so great.:rolleyes:
 
Looks like you can buy them all day long on tirerack.com. Am I missing something? What size tires are you looking for?
 
my car is 21/60/16 I doubt those will fit.

Here's another thing, I have no space for the 4 tires to sit around when it's summer, right now there is no snow..so why buy snow tires when you only need them on occassion. Waste of money, road, and tires. Not like i'm expecting you to know at all what washington is like
