I was recently at the Greater Tarrant County Auto Show. Great selection of cars!
Naturally, I spent most of my time in the Lincoln/Mercury exhibit. Here's a few random thoughts...
Best car there - easily the Lincoln Zephyr, soon to be the MKZ. This generated most of the buzz from prospective customers.
Worst car there - a toss-up between the Mercury Grand Marquis and the Lincoln Town Car. It's official...Ford has left these cars out to die (typical Ford).
The MKX looks MUCH better in person. The eggcrate grill works with this vehicle.
Surprisingly, the Lincoln Navigator wasn't as repulsive as I thought that it would be. Lincoln placed this and the TC off to the side. Interesting...two of its biggest nameplates ever, and hardly anyone went around them.
There was a lot of interest around the Mariner Hybrid as well. I'm not a big advocate of hybrids, but whatever.
There you have it! I hope that people can get excited about Lincoln again!
