So, my Mother and I are planning a road trip down to Myrtle Beach August 18-23rd. We'll be starting at her home in Providence RI, and taking 95 straight down. Just for the hell of it, we're planning to stop at the Lizard Lick Towing shop on the way down. About 50 miles out of the way, in Wendel NC. From there, were heading down to Myrtle Beach. Were staying in Calabash NC, about a half hour drive or so from Myrtle Beach, just over the NC/SC line from what I understand. We were thinking of stopping at Outer Banks on the way back up, to see Cape Hatteras light house.
Anyone have any tips/information/suggestions for things to see/do while down in the area?
Have a few months to prep the Mark for the haul. Right around 1,900 miles round trip
