I know its a little sloppy, i havent got around to cleaning up the install yet.

the kenwood is for the subwoofer, one of the 4ch alpines is for the 4 6X9s in the rear deck. the other is for the 2 6X5s in the front doors and the 2 6x9s in the rear panels.

this kenwood deck sounds good, and it matches the message center and gauges etc. perfect.

I have a couple questions for any audio guys. I was going farad caps dont do anything. so im going to put a battery in my trunk. I which should i do? another optima yellow top, kinetik or stinger?

and im not impressed with my keenwood tweeters, who makes the best tweeters? i also want to upgrade 6.5s to a speaker that can handle 100 watts rms. im thinking infiniti kappa, if anyone knows anything better let me know.

farad caps are ok. you dont need another battery for that system ive had alot of systems over the years my last one was 2 10's and a 1000 watt amp stock battery did fine. i had 2 12's and that same amp, and a 400 watt amp on the mids stock battery was fine, so with what you are running should be ok.

dude, way overkill on the interiors...if you had 4 12's it would be fine.. I have 3 12" type r's with the stock system....the highs arent fantastic but you can still hear the vocals.

i have 1500-1700rms running through my car and i dont need anything.....if your dimming, lower the gains and or bass boost....then adjust your h/u. When your running that many amps to so many speakers its hard for me to give a solid suggestion.

For the upgrade, my choice would be Infinity or JL Audio components. I'm going to tell you this now before it's too late. Those amps mounted on the back of the seat in that angle will shut down on you. They have to breathe and the ones with heat sinks will hold heat and get hot and shut off. If they have built in internal fans, you may be ok but you might want to look into mounting your amps flat down so that they can breathe.

I like how the Kenwood you got is lighting up and matching the interior lighting. I just got the KDC-X993 and the single din adapter. It's the same as yours except it's a single din and it has the sub output RCA's. I almost got the same deck as you but I couldn't find one with the sub output but now I have an idea of how well it matches the interior lighting. Looks good!

Caps really don't do anything to help. I have had two in the trunk before and they really were no help at all and as for adding a battery to the trunk, I'm not seeing enough there for the addition to be honest. Just use 1/0 or 2 AWG wiring all the way back to a distribution block. In your case you would need one with 3 or 4 outputs. From the block, I would use at least 4 AWG power wire for each amp and you should be fine on power as long as your battery is an 850/1000 CCA/CA

Laser might come through and add a little input to this but before summer comes, I would seriously get those amps down from that position.

not trying to be a di ck but i've almost fully enclosed many amps and they ended up fine.

Ok so a 1500 amp and two 400s are ok, cool.

no its not dimming, i just want to be safe. and yeah i might have went a lil overboard on the speakers in the interior, but i was going to put one 15" alpine type r and thought i would need better highs and mid range speakers.

the amps should be ok, the keenwood has an internal fan and i have 2 small fans hanging from the rear deck aimed at the amps to cool them. I ll take your advice on upgrading the wiring. I was looking for one with three pre amp outputs but couldnt find one that was a double din, kinda wish i would have went with the model you went with, so i could have more control.
