audio question of the day - stock amp

Seems like i blew my stock amp now according to the guy at circuit city. Where is the stock amp? is it on each of the speakers? has this happened to anyone else? i have to rewire all the speakers to my aftermarket radio. sucks

the stock amp is under the rear deck in the trunk, why don't you just get another stock amp?

thats what i did when my stock amp blew make sure its stock though if you want it to be a quick and easy switchout, if you have an aftermarket amp you will have to do a lot more than just unplug then plug back in

I would just get an after market amp.

Circuit city? lol, I wouldnt take their word for it. But if you have an aftermarket headunit, which would push more power to the amp, theres a good posibility that its blown.
