Audi-style LED headlights for LS?

Dude totally pimped his bike's headlights to look like like an Audi. To me that is a killer fresh look with lots of street cred. Well at least I thought he did. Turns out its Photoshop. Still...

Anybody here ever done this to an LS?

Any reason it can't/shouldn't be done? I just remembered that some of the headlights can't be easily taken apart. That may rain on my parade. :confused:
 
Check your color headlight sealant. If it's grey, you can take them apart by just heating them up in the oven. If it's black sealant, you'll have to cut them apart.

I have really thought about it, but don't know how it would look. BanginLS was supposed to send me a spare set of lights for helping him out with some court stuff, but he hasn't logged on since. Maybe the photos didn't help him out after all :shrug:
 
Just like pektel said check your sealant. On a personal note I think the Audi headlights like that are ugly, but my wife loves them. Maybe I'm just falling out of touch with "cool" car upgrades.

nah, you're not falling out of touch. I think the way audi did it should stay on audi's. I have been thinking about some type of LED setup in the lights though.
 
I recently saw a big body Benz with something like that done in the headlights and a sort of "check mark" looking design in the fog housing and it actually looked pretty good. I spent sometime thinking about doing it to the LS too...
maybe or maybe I'll just settle for the LED angel eyes. Or maybe it will never happen, who knows...
 
Who is Puto? If you posted those for me I have been aware of them since they were making prototypes of the LED version. Also I have a Gen II the 2 same size rings don't work.

I tried and the russian dictonary came up with: stupidly or the act of being stupid. even though its the wrong verbage....it will slide...:D
 
meh....now i remember where i got my "bitch" mixed up.....the Rammstein song "Te Quiero Puta" in english means "I Loved You BITCH"....that's where I learned where to say "bitch" in spanish but since I'm being corrected by the dictionary nazis above...guess they were wrong too

lol forgot how long it's been since I heard the song..ya it's "I love you, whore! "

so considering puto means male prostitute...quite assuming that puta is female prostitute or in slang...A WHORE! lol...glad that's cleared up :P
