Will the high output alt that is made for a 2000 v8 fit a 2003 v6? I figured quik would most likely have the information, but anyone else is welcome to chime in if they have the answer...

The alternator was upgraded in the 03+ to support the electric fan:
2000-2002 = 105 amp, rotation 2.78:1
2003+ = 125 amp, 2.88:1
I cannot be sure if they are physically the same size - they appear to be, and the mounting appears to be in exactly the same location - but can't be sure

I'm guessing you may have to switch the pulleys over, but again, that's just a guess.
