Attempting quad bi-xenon projectors in LS (also selling current retrofit)

Has anyone attempted a quad projector setup in the LS?

My current plan is to retro four TL projectors (all bi-xenon) into the first generation LS headlights. Pictures of this setup soon to follow!

On a side note, my current setup since 2006 has been E46 bi-xenons (headlights) and 350Z single xenon (fogs). This setup is currently for sale! Check that out in the for sale section if you're interested!

yup! I almost double taked at this thread. What kind of bezels are you going to use? Thats why I wanted to use the E-46 enlarged shrouds to cover the original reflector bowl.

Quad bi-xenon is going to be outstanding! TL projectors are the best for the money hands down.

I'm actually contemplating on doing the same thing I did with my current E46 setup which was to cut a precise hole in the headlight housing and then recess the projector so that I do not use a bezel. It makes the retro stand out less and look more OEM (this is just my opinion) :shifty:

I agree, the more OEM looking the better. Projectors are hands down the best headlight available and it is an awesome project to tackle! Mad props for doing such a great job on your first set. Only thing I may have done differently was add a bezel to cover the chrome housing. But obviously I haven't been in there and have no idea what depth the projector sits at and where the bezel would meet the "eye" of the projector.

Anyways good luck on your quad retro fit I think thats going to really look fckin awesome!

Update:
After doing more research I decided to go with Infiniti Fx-35 projectors with a fresnel lens swapped for clear lens (also known as FXR projector). I just received them and I am very impressed at the output. Check out my video for a direct comparison

Note that this video is using only 1 projector!

Around 10 hours and I am over half done. This retro is going much quicker than the first!
