AOD tailshaft length?

Friend of mine bought a 6dr town car limo for the heck of it. But it needs a motor and trans. He has a line on an aod from a Mark Vii..... anyone know if it will work?? Did the limos have longer tailshafts??

im not sure if limos has the longer shaft, i know lincoln is lincoln specific, but that about all i know, it shoudl be the same as in the towncar and mark vii
