Anyone tried replacing or adding desicant to dryer

I found this web site and we could add more desicant to drier. How would one know when you have added too much? Anyone bought from these people?

That would make for a tight fit. I can barely get mine together the way it is.

easy you count the beads you take out...and replace the exact number of beads from the new batch.

you can get it in bulk at Academy.

Make sure you count the old ones...keeping track of the pink and blue beads.
you MUST put the pink and blue beads back in the dryer with the new beads.

Well having never opened one up..but now I think I have gathered that it is pretty much packed inside with the dessicant.

Actually its not packed. It has a compression spring. The spring compresses the stuff between two plates/filters. That spring makes it a little fun to put back together. Keep in mind this stuff expands, hence the spring. If you were to stuff the dryer and it absorbed moisture - crack!

Just dry the beads out...
