Anyone running these?

I meant revert the car back to obd1 and get rid of all the troublesome 96 only electricals. Hence why I said find a wiring harness as well. I mean I'm sure its not as simple as that, but id do it if I had a bastard child 96.

leave the 96 computer. its fine.
just run a tune that kills the IMRC code and ignores the second set of O2s, run 93-95 IMRCs, do whatever you want with the cats.

after that, the only big things are the computer and VRCM.

Maybe the new exhaust, once installed will help it out some. We'll soon see!
well, it will be hard to tell for awhile, you're gonna want to hear that puppy bark! which requires fuel...so it may go down at first...imo; the main factor in mpg is that right foot, and how often the engine gets started; I'll do great during the week, on the hwy, steady flow at 65 mph, then run errands on the weekend and the mpg gets shot to hell..I noticed a difference in hwy driving going down from 75 to 65mph; I'm sure 55mph would be even better, but it gets dangerous cruising too slow on the highway...ricers passing on all sides!!

and I just happen to have a spare of each of those parked on the garage shelf :D
-so, the 96 imrc vac pod goes bad, bank 1 especially, is there some reason 93-95 actuators have a longer lifespan? or are they just more abundant?

no. they just don't have the electric part to break and are easier to find. it isn't a big deal to find a set.

My father is a firm believer in those E3 plugs for some reason... he's running them in his '97 LSC. I don't like them... idles rough in the cold, and his mileage is actually worse - like, sub-17 MPG in mixed, easy driving.

I have NGK V-Power coppers in my car and love them.

had a vehicle running those stupid e3 plugs...failed a tailpipe emissions test...installed correct ac delco plugs...and low and behold vehicle passed with flying colours

Or that.... lol I suppose I took the hammer to the fly approach...

Negro please!

just run oem motorcraft plugs...so cheap and so worth the money especially since they are practically the same price as the autolites and sold at almost every parts store
