I'm looking to purchase an LS up there. But I'm located in Cleveland, OH. Was wondering if anyone was close perhaps they could take a look at it for me before I make a 3.5 hour drive. Thanks guys!
 
I work down there and I'll be downtown tomorrow. If it's a diamond in the rough pm me the link to what you're looking for. If it's your run of the mill Lincoln LS, share it here.

just out of curiosity, why would you want to buy one from the detroit area when you're so far away? if I was going to drive that far to get a car, I would go the other direction and try to get a car thats not from the rust belt...
 
LS' aren't that common around here unfortunately. I've been on the hunt specifically for a 2003 black/black w/ THX, parking sensors, auto wipers, w/ the woodgrain interior. Normally I'd look further south, but this particular one I would classify as a diamond in the rough for me because it's precisely what I'm looking for. I own an 01' now in good shape, so I've been just biding my time waiting for that perfect one.

Why not an '06?????
 
Haha - mostly price, 3 years older is much cheaper...however, the 06's don't have the rain sensing wipers. Sadly that's something I've come to love on my 01' lol.

Early 04s had rain sensing wipers. Be aware that you can add the rain sensing feature to an 06 (or any gen II) at a reasonable cost.

I feel you. I've had terrible luck looking for cars in my state of NJ. The ones I want are rare to find for sale as it is, then since I live by the ocean and they use salt on the roads a lot of the ones for sale are rusted to hell! not so much body rust but the kind you don't want, I looked at a car once and the whole multi link was rusted through badly. I've seen a lot of nice garage kept ones, but then there's the thing like the owners want $5,000 more than the cars actually worth and wont budge.
