Anyone know whats the deal?

I Have the stock 6 disk in-dash everything works awesome but although the display is working the buttons don't light up any ideas

Yeah all the other light s dim and brighten but the radio buttons dont even illuminate

+1 for this problem on my head unit...everyones telling me that to fix it, i need to get a new head unit.
