Anyone know this option?

FYI the adjustable rear headrests were on the "Ultimate" models.

Let's be clear here, people. There was no Ultimate model in 2003 (GLanga's year). Top of the line was V8 Premium Sport. Ultimates came out in 2004-2005, and were essentially the same thing as the 2003 Premium Sport.

Oh, every car review has said I have the Prem Sport.
"V-8 Premium Sport ($43,360) adds high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps, walnut interior trim, AdvanceTrac traction and stability control, and a power moonroof. "
Which I have each one except the Walnut trim. The only options I thought I had was the Park Assist and THX Nav and rear heated seats. I have never seen in any review that for 2003 the folding mirrors and adjustable head rests. Just the 3 I mentioned which I have.

I'm not arguing it's not satin nickel though.

Hey if you can prove me wrong I'd really love to actually know but the only thing I'm missing so far is 1 of 4 amenities to make it a Prem Sport.

glanga - PM me your email address. I can forward something to you that breaks down what is what with the 2003s that I got from ToddG.

Whats a "Stripper v6"
I have a V8 under the hood...I dont know if very low end is what I have. It is simpler(monochromatic), than the two tone interiors, and I think I like the sportier look it gives. I really dont like the 2 tone with wood interiors, as they really do look like the "old man's" Lincoln...to me. Just my opinion...:D

Alright, so I read the spec sheet NYC LS8 sent me and I have the sport but it has every option available you could get for it. Weird. Thanks for the info guys.

Hey, that's great! Nothing wrong with that! I've always been hesitant to rely on what Edmunds says because they are so frequently wrong. Gotta drill down a little deeper for accurate info! I prefer to go with the data from the manufacturer. The 2003 Order Guide I sent to NYC LS8 (and which you now have) is directly from Lincoln and should lay out all the features and options from which you can determine exactly what car you have.

Yeah that's pretty cool. Is there any real difference between the Sport and Prem besides the cosmetic and convenience stuff? Like suspension?

On the V8s, there are no differences between the Sport and Premium (and Ultimate) in the suspension arena. The only differences between them and the non-Sports are the shocks and sway bars, as far as the suspension goes. The springs and other suspension components are all the same on the 2nd Gen LS V8s.

The 03+ had Black-lacquer trim on V6 Luxury, Aluminum on the V8 Sport, American walnut burl wood on V6 Premium and V8 Ultimate. All had the satin nickel center column.

The adjustable rear head restrains look nice but cut down on rear visibility.

Yes, real American burl wood I got from a place called Sherwood Dash before I heard of Ken’s Lskoncepts; I don’t think he carries this. You can find it on eBay with a lot of different choices of overlay material and they have come down in price.
Also the LSE model had a combination of Aluminum and American walnut burl wood.

Can someone please post a picture of the black lacquer interior, that sounds awesome. I love the all black look of my interior, a little more cant hurt :)
