I have an 03 Prem Sport V8. The accenting is sort of a crappy carbon fiber finish, not the satin nickel or wood trim. Yea its the stock trim. But I've never found it on any site as an option, just walnut burl and satin nickel. I wish it was real carbon fiber so I could accent easier with other parts.

But do a lot of people have this?

I have what you are talking about...in my '04 LS. I dont know enough about all of this, but my car has the black interior...wonder if that means anything...?!
It looks like someone put a loose mesh over the part, and painted the little lines right on it...is that a fair description?

Yeah haha. It's like faux-carbon fiber. I have two-tone mocha and tan interior.

have you considered getting a sheet of carbon fiber and recovering the offending pieces?

Nahh, if I did that I'd just get the entire dash kit. Which I can't decide between wood or more carbon fiber.

3 shots, the first two are at night, from far away it sort of looks like a brownish brushed aluminum, but up close you can see the pattern.

I like that. The 90-92 Mark VIIs had something similar on the center console. I was thinking of having everything that's that nickel satin painted the color of the car, but then that means no heat or radio for me for a while lol

The essentials. Just be for a few days though haha. Take it out for Atco so you have maximum weight loss in the car.

I can't decide to keep it, put wood, or real carbon fiber over it all, an entire dahs overlay

I might just do it anyway since I don't drive the car everyday. Gotta see what my friend Nick's painter buddy would charge for it.

I'd say keep yours, but that's because I don't have it and think it looks worlds better than the satin nickel.

yeah but my problem is i have deep scratches under the a/c vents and near the a/c controls from the previous owner and it looks terrible, i dont want to replace the entire units. ill cover them if i have to but i cant decide what. i do kinda like what it has but i need it matching, itd drive me nuts

On mine, not all of the panels are the same. The console is a solid color, with no pattern, and some of the door accents are done like the console, right next to the stuff with the pattern on it. Looks ok, but two different colors(almost).

yeah thats how mine is, same as yours. except for nasty chips under the vents and around some controls

Do you guys have a wood steering wheel and shift knob or is it all leather? Just curious if Ford threw three different styles into the interior lol

I have all leather shift knob and wheel, mocha color. And something else I noticed too is that some have adjustable headrests in the rear seats. mine doesnt, it has these little humps

FYI the adjustable rear headrests were on the "Ultimate" models.

The satin nickel is a nice look, just did not like all that plastic. Changed out the black leather shifter with the newer wood knob; covered the leather steering wheel with more padded leather; the original started to crack and is not part of warranty and I prefer leather over wood.

I kind of like that, the wood mix, i might have to do that. keep the factory carbon looking stuff but just put wood on the center stack and other accents and change the shifter. its burlwood? from lskocnepts?

The 03+ had Black-lacquer trim on V6 Luxury, Aluminum on the V8 Sport, American walnut burl wood on V6 Premium and V8 Ultimate. All had the satin nickel center column.

The adjustable rear head restrains look nice but cut down on rear visibility.

Yes, real American burl wood I got from a place called Sherwood Dash before I heard of Ken’s Lskoncepts; I don’t think he carries this. You can find it on eBay with a lot of different choices of overlay material and they have come down in price.

GLanga, thanks for posting the picture. I don't think you have a Premium Sport model. Your picture shows the aluminum trim, and it was standard equipment on the 2003 V8 Sport model. Walnut trim was standard on the 2003 V8 Premium Sport model.

Other standard features found on the 2003 Premium Sport include folding exterior mirrors and adjustable rear headrests. Does your car have these? If not, it is not a Premium Sport.
