lol i always see they vans/trucks (whatever you want to call them) driving around but i've never used them, i use craftsman or snap-on
 
Mac tools are nice. too expensive for me. I use craftsman.
 
The car is coming along good man. It's starting to look like a Lincoln LS.

As for the tools, i might have a few Mac tools in the toolbox. For the most part, it's all craftsman and snap on.
 
i buy my sheit at canadian tire, life time warrenty on all tools! doesnt get much better then that! just go to the customer service desk with the reciept and broken tool, they give you a new one!

with craftsman though, all you do is bring the tool to sears or they'll exchange it, you don't even need the reciept

damn near every tool has a lifetime warranty now all the "real" company's just need to see their name on it and you get a new one. i got a good amount of mac tools, its all about the tool guy not the name brand, i stooped buying mac tools when my guy went independent and i buy what ever he has
 
I have quite few MAC tools. A good freind of mine was a distributor for about 10 years, used to get real good deals.
 
Speaking of Snap-On.. I just got some school tools in the mail today. They are awesome.. Some are Snap-On, some are blue-point.

I agree.. Snap-On FTW!
 
i'm definitely a fan of USING mac tools, just not a fan of BUYING them
 
damn snap-on fan boys, all your paying for is the name. ive had my share of snap on tools and there is next to no difference except the shape and the name stamped on it they all break. and my snap on guy sucked it took him 5 tries to fix my 1/4 drive ratchet and every time he "fixed it" it would last till the truck left the lot then it would jam up again, he said i was using it too hard........this is the 1/4 drive i use on door panel screws etc, no next guess please. finally spoke with the rep and got a new one, but im done buying from them

thats what i love about craftsman, just go into the store hand them the broken tool and get a brand new tool every time, the dude behind the counter has no clue whats going on, and cant try to repair it, just replace it and call it a day, the only down side it that i got to take it there instead of them coming to me but they are less than a mile down the road from my shop

just be careful, i told one that i was a mechanic and he threatened not to replace it cuz i didnt buy their "industrial line"
 
yea I make sure that i dont give them any info that they dont need
 
I have found some Craftsman tools before and the wrench will be rusted up like its 20yrs old and just take it to Sear's and get a new one!!!

thats the best, basically as long as it looks old and used then they'll give you a new one
