I have a fuse under the hood that has started blowing (as of yesterday) it's a 30 amp fuse (number 5mini). The only think I know so far that it controls is the trunk release. I'm needing to figure out what's going on and would like to take a look at an electrical diagram.

Thanks once again my fellow mark owners. :D

BTW: for those of you who have been looking in my threads over the last week. I returned the A/C compressor. I took my car back to the shop that filled the lines and had them test the pressure and they said it was overfilled and under acceleration was very close to the 'fail' point of the compressor. They vac'ed the system and refilled. Seems to be working much better, and while I believe the compressor will go out eventually (I'll post a video soon so you guys can hear it) I think I'll live with it for now. No more bogging unless on max AC and then very slightly.

edit: they also tested for leaks.... surprised there were none.

Have you checked the trunk harness at the hinge for broken/bare wires?
I know it's common on the first gens, don't think it'd hurt to check the 2nd gens if they have the same wire harness?

No, but I'll check. Only way to pop the trunk right now is to turn the car off and put in a new fuse and throw the trunk release. It'll work with a 10amp fuse with the car off. I've only thrown a 25 and 10 amp on there. The 25 broke when I drove the car. Because I can get in it I haven't gotten to orielly yet to get a new 30 amp. May have just been a bad fuse.

If you do a search you will find the Gen II CD repair manual for download.
