I'm about to order a 4" driveshaft to go with my 4.30 gears.
I was wondering who has one this size and if they had any issues with fitting it in there? What did you have to do to get it to fit if you did have trouble?
I really don't want to get stuck with a shaft I can't fit in there, and the 3.5" doesn't have a high enough critical speed for me.
Thanks greatly,
J.

Thanks Geno, I tried to call you but got your answering service. You'd probably were already gone for the evening or busy.
I've read a couple people did have problems with the 4" shaft hitting the gas tank. I only heard of what one person did to fix it though.

If anyone else has one, please chime in and let me know :)

I'm pretty positive I'm going to order the 4" one tomorrow, but at least if I hear from others, I'll know what to expect when putting it in.

I have the dynotech 4" from supercoupeperformance. No problems. Had vibes at around 80 before smooth at glass into triple digits now. Still with stock gearing though(for now...)

4" here with no problems. IIRC, You need to shim the tank down a bit IF you run in to fitment issues.

I should have updated this earlier, sorry.
I picked up a Denny's 4" shaft and it fits perfect, no problems putting it in or rubbing anywhere :)
Thanks again for the help all!
