anybody have no start problems

My car is in the shop right now I installed white guage faces on my LS and now it won't start .I must have set off the pats so I'm waiting for the dealer to reprogram it .I'm sick of driving my 1990 isuzu pickup [my winter beater ]hopfully I'm ready to roll by next weekend since this car is a garage king.

Just got my ls back from the dealer had to get the car reprogammed since it wouldn't start the pats anti theft screwed up also the old alarm that was on it had to be removed cost me $260 canadian when all was said and done.But now she's so sweet .

It was the alarm and also I Installed my white guages and the pats security system on the car went into theft mode so the dealer had to re program it.

Before you unplug the instrument panel you MUST dis-connect the battery. If you don't the computer thinks the car is stolen and shuts down and a trip to the dealer is in place. Of course you already knew that!

Wow Gray! I didn't know that! And I had never heard it before! Sounds to me like it may be wise to disconnect the battery anytime you do anything under that dash then. Of course, that's just good practice anyway.
 
disconnect the battery whenever you are touching the cluster, PATS or PCM.
