I'm talking on the inside driver's side around the cover for the door lock switch and mirror adjustment. The panel pops out mostly around the bottom, but slightly on the top as well. I've tried tucking it back in but that doesn't work. I have the same problem on the DA Mark and it is much worse. I assume many people with gen 1's have this problem.

Is there a solution written somewhere that I don't know about?

I think GMAN used locktight spray to fix it.

It's on one of his build threads.

Just did this fix on the door panels I installed on my car..remove the door panel and switch cover around that area and reglue it..simple. I used loctite plastic 2 part epoxy and held it with some c clamps while it hardened. Use a wood paint stick inbetween the door panel and c clamps so it doesn't deform the door panel material.

New panels which I reglued in the same spot

I thought about it..there was a 96 red on tan lsc in the junkyard about a month ago with pretty nice seats..but I just don't have the room to be storing all this stuff lol..its bad enough I have door panels, bumpers, 2 extra sets of wheels and tires and several other boxes of front end parts and odds and ends all stored in the attic of my dads garage..once I buy a house in the next few months I won't have to worry about that anymore though :D

You could pull off the old skin and toss them... and then install the newer skins... its a good storage spot :)

KeVIIIn, any more pics on how you fixed the panel? I have the same problem on my 95 and I was going to try heat to re-mold it. You said that you used glue. Thanks TONYyyy
