I used the search function and all I could come up with is KBX performance. I wouldn't mind a tune from them, heck I have already tried to call and email them with no response back from them. Do I need a custom tune? Or could I just adjust it myself? I have a xcal2 on a 2000 LS V8. Thanks

Thanks Quik. I just sent him an email. hopefully I will get a response.

I had a similar issue with a houston area tuner..

Got tired of being ignored, and just "bit the bullet" and bought the software to do it myself.

The software is 329.00, since you already have the hardware/xcal 2, getting the software is roughly the same price you'd pay for a chip or a dyno tune.

Being able to make changes yourself, is priceless.

Torrie WILL reply..he LIKES money.
He sells and supports the software too

When you talk to him, explore the software end of it.
Torries pretty helpful, and would likely set you up with a pretty good "starting file" for you to customize.

good advice. I just need to find out if I'm buying this or a TCI streetfighter 3000rpm stall. I need to do something.

Probably should start with an upgraded fuel pump though.

get the software, it'll support your future mods...
if you get the TC, then you'll still need someone to hold your hand and fix your tune.
Might as well get the software and begin the arduous task of educating yourself.. you've got a pretty steep learning curve to overcome.

By this time next year, you should be ready for the TC.
