Yesterday i drove up on my ramps to change my oil, it was in drive and i slowly coasted up the ramps, i let off the gas and the car went backwards, then i gave it gas and went back up. I changed the oil, everything ok, reverse off the ramps etc. When i took a drive, i noticed the transmission acting weird. It slipped alittle. At the light i floored it, and it was accelerating but it felt as if it was skipping, or slipping-almost as if the fuel was low and the engine was cutting out. I have a half tank lol. I pulled over checked the trans fluid after shifting through gears at a stop. Fluid level great, pink color still.

After driving it around several hours, all is back to normal shifting. Why did this happen and do you think it damaged the transmission when the car rolled backwards while it was in drive? I thought that when a car is in Drive, it never rolls back?

Thanks, maybe it had to do with the fluid being that the car was on an incline?

Keep in mind i know very little about transmissions lol.
