I've been running 5W30 in the wife's '97 LSC, 10W30 in my '96 (cuz it's got more miles), and 20W50 in my '94 Exploder with the 4.0L V-6. Given the conversations here, I think I'll switch to 5W20 in the Marks and...maybe...10W40 in the Exploder. It's only got 135K miles on it, holds good oil pressure, and runs great. So what the heck.
lol you should switch to a 5.0 in that exploder, use that 4.0 for a boat anchor! dont get me wrong some 4.0's are ok but most are not. if you got a pushrod 4.0 then your already a leg up than most if you got a 4.0 sohc well im sorry then
