another console speaker thread

hey guys. Merry Christmas. i already searched looking for quick ls`s post.

i have a set of 4" pioneer speakers, and i want to put them in my center console and power them by my 4 ch alpine amp. is there anyway to mount them from the inside (take ashtray out etc) because they r alot bigger than my stock ones on my 2000 ls v6.

I would guess that you can, but I'm not sure. Dunno about the 1st gen LS, but in my '04 and '06 LSes, the space is kind of tight--the ductwork for the rear seat vents runs very close to where the center speakers mount.

well, i dont have any vent work for my heated seats and was wondering if anyone snugged these in.

what size screws hold them in p[lace? my toolkit dosnt have them
