I made a thread a while back but never got a def answer.

Does a intermitent srs light (code 32/clockspring) disable the entire srs? It never stays on, just blinks, usually when I turn left.

I tried again today to remove the blasted thing but it won't budge. Got 2 diff sets of jaw pullers and they didn't work, they even started to distort..They weren't the best but they should've done something.

What do entire steering wheel assemblys go for nowadays? Steering Wheel, good cs/ mfs ect...

I've got a gen 2 column and wheel in the garage I'm getting rid of but you'll need to get a new clock spring that's the only thing it will need. Shoot me a pm if your interested

My gen2 wheel was stuck on like a dickins. It pulled out the threads in wheel for puller. I then used a 2 jaw puller that just fit in there and popped it off.

Does the steering wheel come off? lol. Or are they already seperated?

Yeah, I pulled out the threads years ago. I'm going to think this over before I buy a assembly.

mine pulled the treads in the wheel for the puller as well. . Did the same thing on my spare wheel as well. I tapped them out to a 3/8-16 and bought new bolts. Both came off after that.

steering wheel

I just went through the same deal. Drilled and tapped them 7/16 fine after carefully drilling all the way through without drilling through the plastic on the clockspring. Able to tap all the way for full threads and used my 1/2 electric inpact and wheel came right off. Good luck

F'n A...I've never tapped anything before, guess it's time to watch some youtube vids.

thats hard to believe coming from a guy that seems to do alot of his own work.

I guess. I've just never had a bolt break/strip threads off anything impotant before. If it's something small or it doesn't play an important role I just leave it alone. I can think of a couple things that I could tap once I get a kit. :)

Everyones a noob at something.
