angel eye kit/bulbs

will any other angel eye kit work with the ls`s headlights. also, i jus bought me some cleared corner headlights off of someone here. what bulbs should i buy i know i seen someone post something about the chromium bulb or something.

About the angel eyes.. NO.. Only certain kinds of "kits" will fit.. I can't remember what BMW ebay kits will find.. I think it's the E46. I bought some without researching first and got screwed in the end cause they were too big.

Do a search on "angel eyes" specifically in the LS forum and you should get about 20 pages worth of links..

Im not sure what angel eyes i bough maybe the e36 ill look tomorrow and make sure. They fit perfectly and were simple to install.

As far as the clear corners the bulb that I think most of us have gone with is the sylvania silver star (correct me if im wrong) but theyre the $h!t. give off the chromish/rainbowish look when off and when lite theyre orange so its still legal.

Does this kit work with the 03+ or just the first gen LS? I was under the impression that the 03+ LS required two different size rings.

All of the LS's need different size rings. The low beams are different from the high beams.

We are working with Umnitza to bring the 03+ kits to market once Ray finishes his how to guide. We will be selling these kits soon for the 03+ LS's.

The 00-02 LS uses the same size rings for both low and high beam.

Well, they are not expensive if you have to replace ballasts every few months or when the rings burn out like those cheap kits on eBay. Trust me, Umnitza makes the best systems out there. I have been running their Predator kit for almost 3 months and I have never had to replace the ballasts or have a ring burn out. I use to install those cheap kits in the angel eye headlights I use to sell and had to send replacement ballasts constantly to customers. Matt at Umnitza has been doing the angel eye kits for a long time and has got the best kits out there. The old saying is, "you get what you pay for" is true with angel eye kits. Also, Umnitza has a warranty with each kit. I don't see they have one on that auction.

These will do just fine.
However you have to make sure they size is correct. In all my years making/installing the dde kit for the Lincoln LS they only crap kit I found was the LED kit. Any ccfl kit I ran into worked fine. Not to mention VERY BRIGHT.
