Some of you may remember me...my old username was "MyFirstLincoln" I tried to log in and start a new thread but I am not able to do so under that account for some reason. I also cannot upload images on here for some reason - it's rather annoying. Hopefully the links below work.

To make a long story short, the weather was bad and when going through an intersection I got clipped. Just found out today that it is, indeed, totaled.

I'll miss her dearly but am looking into new Cadillac CTSs - would like something all wheel drive from the winters around here but am not real interested in an SUV or truck.

Anyway, it looks like I'll have a few things to sell if anyone is interested: I was about to have the trans rebuilt so I have the following brand new:
1. Transgo Shift kit
2. Superior Shift kit
^Bought both cuz I wasn't sure which I was going to use.
3. Trans pan gasket
4. Trans filter
5. Trans solenoid 1L2Z-7G391-AG

Also have:
6. SCT Tuner X4 - I'm not totally sure how these work, but I believe it is "married" to my car? I ordered it from Torrie and it came preloaded with 3 times (aggressive, performance, mpg).
7. I am still waiting to hear back from my insurance agent to see what they'll be doing about the Jaguar wheels. Once I find out, I'll update.

There could also be some other odds and ends.

Many cars look fine in gray, but not many wear it well. Your LS certainly does.

How much for the SCT? It's been a while since I looked into tuners and I may need a refresher, but I believe the tunes are married to the car and the odds of having the same "strategy code" are slim. Possible, but slim. The buyer has to buy new tunes to get the proper code.

Do the Jag rims have a name?

That's not gray in color Frank, you need a new monitor!

yeah - my car is actually green. I have no idea what I want for the X4 - I'm not sure how much it costs to "unlock" it and get tunes from Torrie. I payed 400+ just a few months ago but am flexible because I realize it may cost a bit to get it to work on your vehicle - shoot me an offer.

Oh - and the wheels are Jaguar XK XF 19" Kinda like these:

Mine are actually chrome (not the black chrome) but have been plasti-dipped black.

It was my understanding, one would be able to un-marry the tune from the car by means of loading the stock profile back on, then able to load it onto another car, leaving x amounts of unlocks available with it, then those Torrie tunes go with the Tuner device to the next owner whom could then load those profiles to his/her LS and call upon Torrie for tweaks to align it depending on wheel size, intake and such, for $$$'s to Torrie of course.

The 3 programs sold with the devices from Torrie are general written profiles for all the LS'es which he can further provide additional tweak supports for.

The devices come with 5 unlocks on it, you unlock one car, return it to stock, sell the tuner to someone else, he's then onto the second unlock thenceforth.

At least that's what I thought I took from reading his website. Pretty sure that's how it goes, if not someone correct me please.

Looks like the Light Tundra Metallic color paint code DV, available 2003-06 only.

Shame about that LS, too bad it couldn't be salvaged/repaired, was a good looking LS for sure.

Best of luck with everything going forward!

looks like Torrie website has gotten a nice new overhaul as of lately. The info doesn't jump right out at me but pretty sure, the device can be resold and is only good to the next person if it got unlocked from the previous owners car, meaning the tunes were removed and stock profile loaded.

"SCT allows you to flash your car back to stock and "unlock" the tuner making it available to sell to other people"

Not 100% sure on the tunes, new owner of device may have to purchase new files at $150, strategy code has to be send to Torrie

That's actually pretty clever. It prevents you from buying 1 tuner for you and 10 friends and running 11 tuned Civics. One tune at a time. I wonder if you could keep a spare junk to car "load" the stock tune to... provided you have the same strategy code and everything

*Clever without going all Apple/iOS on the user

I'll have to get into the auto body place and reflash it to stock. THANKS FOR THE INFO GUYS!

And no, the bumper is actually damaged - I know it's tough to see in the picture but it's actually cracked under the front quarter panel.

Yeah, you'll have to because no-one would want to buy a locked tuner from ya, It'll be no good to them and they'd have to send it to SCT to get it unlocked for additional $$$

Sorry to hear. Good luck with the new car. How bad is the crack? If it's not to bad, it can be repaired
