Don't know if anyone even reads this forum, but here goes...
I'm thinking about upgrading my amp. The one I've had for about 4 years now is a Pioneer GM 5000T 760W max 2 channel. Right now I have a Directed Audio SX12D4 600W RMS (1200max) dual 4 ohm coil sub in a sub zone vented enclosure.
If it helps at all, the head unit I'm using is the Kenwood Excelon DDX7015.
My question is, am I going to notice a big difference by moving up to the Directed Audio D1200 amplifier? I'm selling the old amp with a different sub and box, and using that money to buy the new amp. Just wondering if it's worth the hassle.
I know pretty much nothing about electronics. Any help/input would be apreciated.
Thanks!
