Do they make and would it benifit my mark viii to have a aluminum fly wheel?

Yes, they are availible. According to their sellers, they "reduce rotating mass under heavy acceleration allowing for better WOT launches".

I don't know if it's true or not, but for $500, it damn-well better be...

Wrong, they are 6 bolt.The cobra is 8 bolt.

yea I read that and was wondering if they were 6 or 8.. cause I just put the flywheel on my mark, I was like I am positive I put on 6 bolts.

You can buy the correct flexplate for an 8 bot crank straight from ford.
