I replaced my alternator with a rebuilt one in august of last year, when i replaced it they recommended i replace the belt, i declined. yesterday my car wouldn't start i charged the battery and the car started. i popped the hood and it looked like the a belt was missing. my question is does the alternator have a seperate belt aside from the serpentine belt or are they the same. when my alternator failed last year i got a check charging system code, this time nothing. it leads me to believe its the belt. any help would be appreciated

It's all one belt driving the power steering, water pump, ac, alternator and fan pump (Gen1).
