Accidently posted in "For Sale" forum so here i go again. Well I had off today and I was looking at my car and decided the alternator bracket that I painted gloss black didn't look right with the chrome alternator. Since I dont know anything about chroming or feel like paying someone to do it, I went ahead and started to hand polish it instead. Only about half way done but its getting there.

Looks good, you should see what Gman is working on...whew

Yeah he has a lot of work ahead of him. I know a guy who polished his eaton blower by hand and it took him 72 hours. He didnt do it in 72 hours straight lol, just total hours combined.

ok how do you polish it? i want to dress up my engine and i would love to know how easy or hard it is and what is needed?

It is time consuming but worth it in the end. It cost me about $20 in dremel bits and I had my own dremel to do it.

And many many days of boredom, looks real good thou.. Powder coat is as pretty as I'm gonna go..
