Alternater install turned into nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!

well went to pull the alternate out of the old mk and put it in the new mk... and i broke the bolt *as seen below that hold the cross over pipe down and the alt down... and Ford dosnt have these... anyone have one, or a redneck way of fixing it?

Pic does not load. Take the other bolt to a hardware store. Most can probably match it just fine.

That's not a nightmare its a broken bolt
If you can't get a used one then just buy some threaded rod and cut to length.

PM me your address, I've got a whole box of bolts...I know I've got a few of those. it'll be a couple days before I can send it out tho (it's a lasers and I don't plan on going back out there until Saturday)

There is a 95 in the yard in Widewater in Stafford, a 93 at Wheeler in Fredericksburg.

I'm pretty sure I was just looking at that same bolt yesterday, in my tool box. Let me know the overall length of it and I'll verify if they're the same...

haha. that bolt doesn't even have to come out to remove the alternator.

yea, too bad to top part of the bolt broke off when i was removing to alt.

First time I removed these alternators I spent all that time backing the bolts out. Then I looked at the alternator!
