Almost done!

Looks right at home underneath the hood! What intake tube are you waiting on, the stock or JLT RAI? The stock one is pretty restrictive...

hey chad,
why did you run vac line from the Cobra intakes EGR to the master cylinder, and how did you get the Lincoln throttle cable to fit, i ended up using a Cobra throttle body

Stock air tube.

Throttle cable fit fine, just flipped over the TB and it worked.

Needed a vaccume port for the brake booster, and the egr was close. Plus I needed to do something with the egr, 2 birds 1 stone.

First impressions

Took it out for the first drive today, all I can say is HOLY SH!T!!!

The diference is amazing. I knew there would be some power gained but man! My car hasnt made me say holy sh1t in a long time!

Anyone who says you lose low end power doing this swap is crazy. Then again with my gears it doesnt stay down low very long.

If you have a cobra intake just sitting around, get off your arse and put it in there!

Thats great advise. I installed mine today. I ran into some issues with the egr boss the regulator wouldn't clear. I cut an inch off the egr boss. it fits now, I will be running a block off plate same as the stock intake. Also the fuel lines were hitting the cover, I had to cut the bar in between the two ends and bend them to the driver side maybe an inch. Also how did you get the cruise cable to reach the tb. I didn.t raise the car to look at it under the fender.. Every thing is ready to go now waiting on the jlt intake tube should be in tomorrow. I hope I think the same as you on the first ride.

You have to get into the fender well and move the CC box over and it will reach. You will probably need to drill a hole and use some bolts. I used zip ties because I am lazy. And if it falls off for some reason, then I wont have CC anymore, no big loss.
