Anyone ever put the alluminum dash kit from LSkoncepts.com in a car with woodgrain? I am wondering if it looks any good. Thanks

I agree I'd like to see one installed too. I'd love to add it to my website. There has been a couple of folks get the aluminum dash kit so I know they are around here somewhere.

Hey Ken,

I didn't know you had aluminum kits. I was checking out your website, what is the difference between the OEM aluminum and the exotic brushed aluminum? Got any pics? And how many pieces are these kits?
Thanks

The difference is that the OEM Aluminum doesn't have the brush marks in the pattern. It's just an aluminum color. Below is a couple of samples:

Brushed Aluminum:

Below is what you get with each kit:

It should because the wood grain in the 2000 was the same in 2001 and 2002.

Ken,
I am pretty sure I am going to go ahead and try it. Have you seen both of the aluminum kits? Just wondering on your opionion which looks better.

I haven't seen the kits in person since they are drop shipped from the manufacturer. However, I've have sold both colors and the customers said they look very nice once installed. Just remember that these kits are flat dash kits and you will not get anything to cover existing wood that is in the car now. When I mean existing wood I'm talking about the door panels, wood piece above the glove box and the pieces on each side of the steering wheel column.

The dash kits I sell do NOT cover the existing wood that is in the LS now. It is a formed panel and these are flash dash panel pieces. You will have to either cover them with vinyl, paint them or leave them as wood. No one to date makes a molded dash kit to cover the existing wood.

It is very similar to the OEM aluminum color if not exactly.

It's the interior pieces painted silver frost, like the outside of his car. The aluminum would be a lot darker, I would personally go with the brushed aluminum.

I'm confused, all the kits you sell on LSKoncepts are all wood? Or in other colors too? You threw me off. :slam

I can get them in just about any color but I've just listed on my site kits that are the most popular.

What's the best way to describe the kit, plastic pop in pieces?
