All of my rear lights go off within a few seconds after starting my car

I have a 2002 Lincoln LS V8 and I constantly get a "Check Left Brake Light" message. However, ALL of my rear lights do not work except for my bottom corner right brake light which is extremely dim. I noticed that they all go on when I start my car but immediately go off after a few second. Any ideas? I just got the sockets and bulb replaced and have been trying to figure out if there's maybe a relay or fuse that has gone bad? Anything would be appreciated. I will upload a picture soon.

Fuses don't "go bad." They blow when they need to.
Wiring, grounding of the REM, or maybe the REM (Rear Electronics Module).
