Airbag Problem/warranty?

The airbag light on the dashboard is on. Someone did answer my previous post about it. The car is 2002, with 20 K miles. Shouldn't this be covered under the safety restraint warranty? Does anyone know? thanks. knitterbetty

its covered under you 4yr/50k mile bumper to bumper warranty, i believe on the LS safety restraintsa re 5/50 it will tell you in your warranty guide, but you should still be under bumper to bumper coverage

could be lots of things. clockspring, seat sensor, wiring issue, one of the umpteen airbags, etc.....

not to hijack your thread but just how many airbags do these cars come with? on my 03 premium sport v8 i see airbag verbiage on the front seats. are there side curtain airbags up to too? what about the rear?

ford safety warranty is 6/60,000 and bags' are safety equipment, bring her in...lol
