Wouldn't you like to know...
Okay so my airbag light starting blinking 3-6. Put the modis on it and tells me the passengers side solar radiation sensor is faulty.

Now I replaced the clockspring less than a year ago.

Anyone got any info???????????????????????????????????????????

I'm guessing "modis" is some kind of diagnostic tool. From what I know the airbag system does not set trouble codes in the computers memory. You would need Ford to tap into the airbag module to get the exact diagnosis. However, there are two common reasons for the 36 light code, one being the clock spring, the other being the wiring harness under the drivers seat for the side airbag.

Look for a bright yellow connector with 2 wires. The wires tend to break (internally) near that connector. You can replace the connector with a new pigtail from Ford for $15 or so, or you can pull the pins out of the connector and then cut out the bad section and re-solder the wires back onto the pins.
