Search. Airbag issues come up quite a bit. It's probably either the clockspring or the connector under the driver's seat. When the light is flashing at first, it is flashing out a two digit code (x flashes, pause, y flashes, pause, repeat...) Count the flashes and post it back, or look up the chart posted with the gen I airbag codes. Knowing the code will help point in the right direction.

+1. Are your volume and cruise controls still working? If not then it's certainly your clockspring.

Wow.... I guess all forums have D. Bags on them. I am a new guy, but i am getting the hang of it and learning. I will only be a new guy for a while, chances are you will be a D. Bag for life, and a D. Bag that cannot spell.... try the spell check feature, works great! ;)

a simple search would have came up with all the info you needed with out waiting for responses, the air bag light is one of the more common issues that always come up and is usually beat to death by rookies.

also searching will allow you to avoid comments like this one
