The coil conversion kits for the Mark VIII are designed for the Mark VIII. A T-Bird is not used anywhere in the calculation of spring rate or anything.

A spring that would be perfect for the Mark VIII wouldn't be right for a T-Bird.

FWIW, this is what I expected. :)
 
as for the air lines being "cut" they could look that way cuz there is no "fitting" on the end of the line it should be just a straight cut at the end, the real question is where does it end, kinda up near the top of the strut? if so it could be ok
