Converted back to air with all new components......Now the car rides like a heavy duty truck, I can feel every expansion joint and hitting small potholes jars the whole car. The reason I got rid of the conversion kit was it did the same thing. It feels like the bags are fully extended with 100 psi and that's it. When I did this I shotgunned the system and bought all new parts. Wanted to insure the system operated properly. ALSO if it sits the system will deflate over time (short time) in approximately 48 hrs. The only parts I purchased used were the height sensors. I don't understand why it rides as bad as it does.. One more: The compressor constantly cycles. If it helps I have a system II reader. You all know me by now I don't work on my car my longer, I pay the price. Any advice and I mean any advice is appreciated.....I know this is a little discombobulated .......Bruce L. Hansen......Senior Citizen.....Alive by the Grace and Mercy of GOD

i am assuming you bought aftermarket air bags.
first, you have a leak, seems like the common issue is the o rings on the solenoid on the aftermarket air bags.
second, the shocks in the air bags are probably low quality or failed already. seems like none of the aftermarket bags had shocks in them that were anything more than barely passable as functioning.
i know the set i had were blown completely out from day one.

I did buy aftermarket air bags, they have a 1 year warranty......For the pair they cost me almost $400.....Since I have had them on for a couple of weeks now there seems to be some sort of smoothing out..... The 1st week there was no compression after they filled the front struts (bags)....Even as they would fill up they felt like there was at least 100psi in them, hard as a rock .....Had an auto repair shop look at the problem and since that time it seems to ride better.....He did mention all he did was check for leaks and check for leaks around the O-rings....I'm going to drive it now and continue to monitor the suspension..... BIG SHOUT OUT TO YOU.....chris2523 for stepping up.....Appreciate the info.....Bruce L. Hansen.....Senior Citizen.....Alive by the Grace and Mercy of GOD

I have a relatively new set of air bags front and rear with (2) air pumps. I sold my Mark VIII a couple of years ago. This are taking up space in my garage. I will let them go as a package for $200.00 plus shipping and I will through in a bunch of goodies like a repair manual, new ballasts and what ever else I can fit in the box. 618-973-9748

Thanks Eric Jones I appreciate the offer. I purchased the test kit (Rotunda Star Air suspension tester) and it fixed my problem....Swapped out the rear height sensor and found one connection not seated properly so far everything is ok......NOW if there is someone who can help with silence the compressor noise.....I'd be grateful it sounds like a tank when it's running.....I have purchased new air compressor vibration dampers just haven't installed them
