Air Ride Problem

I'm sure this has probably been covered before but I am going to ask anyway. My Check air ride light came on out of the blue, and my rear end raised up all the way. What caused this to happen ? Is it the height sensor or something else ? Can it be repaired without any computer dianostics or special tools?
 
Greg, check out the tech section of lincolnsonline.com. There are two lengthy articles that may help you out about suspension diagnostics. I did the coil coversion on my car so I can't answer your question directly from experience. Also, before the " search " sharks gather in the water (lol), try using our search engine for further answers. Good luck sir.:)

What did the front do? What is he doing now?

Tux, my 96, did something new a few days ago... I turned him over, height was fine, then as I am pulling out of the garage he drops all 4. I cycled 3 times....still no raise...disconnected the battery, still no raise...jumped in the trunk still no raise. Sat in him, told him I was leaving him in the garage and taking the 95. Started up the 95 to warm her up. Got in tried him one more time....he raised - put that in a tech article! lolol

oh yeah thats a guaranteed fix. mine watched me put a new battery in my explorer. then after i went back inside the alarm goes off, i disarm it go to start it, click click click.......

Purchase from Eddie none better in the business. All the information on Eddie's site is because Eddie is the best in the business... no other company will knows the air ride system as Eddie does.
