well i stumbled upon what appears to be a reman/very little use pump and some very decent rear bags...i thinking about getting the air ride back in this thing

First question..for some reason instead of tucking the solenoids behind the splash shield they cut them off and just left the hose there...is there some where this hose disconnects? or is there a way to repair it? I have a complete parts car (it was my previous mark viii car is junk totally rotted and motor is toast plus i robbed the black leather interior out of it) SO i have all the parts necessary to basically completely reinstall the air ride except front struts. Is this feasable...i feel that i scored a super clean air pump..so i would install that first before anything i know the rear bags are good

now my next question is best place to get new front air struts..and also should i rebuild the solenoids or replace them? Also how do you dissconnect them from the line without damaging it? any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated...not really impressed with how this thing rides on coils...if i wanted a tbird i would have kept my 97 sport

the solenoids have a 'push to connect' type of connection, push the little orange ring back towards to solenoid itself and pull on the airline, should pop right out. Pulling the airline without pushing the orange ring will just make it hold on tighter.

If you want it back an working right go to Eddie at American Air Suspension ... Besides the parts he'll help you through the issues. Go elsewhere and I told you so..

I rode in a 95 once with a coil conversion and glad I did. I'll never convert over to the kit, not matter what the brand is or who it comes from. The ride sucked but some like that type of ride. It's just not for me.

If you feel like the solenoids need to be rebuilt, just get the O-ring kit from Eddie and all the hose connectors you need and then all you'll have to have is the front air struts. You could maybe salvage the line from the parts car if all of yours is missing but all it takes is one pinch of an air line and it could be over for that piece.

yeah i know to be careful with it...is arnott the only place to get bags from? i want some good quality, i want to fix this once and hopefully have a good year or better trouble free..

i see he has the OEM struts...one is the cost of 2 aftermarket...not looking to break the bank...are his aftermarket ones ok? It just means the difference of me fixing this air ride right away, or not till spring...i really need to do something with this car...my 1994 Tbird has a way tighter and nicer ride then it
