Where is the in cabin air filter on a 94?

There is none. I dont think they really took off until the later 90s and mainly GM vehicles.

only gen 2's have them if I recall correctly.

gen one doesnt have but can be added

open hood and on the passenger side at the back of hood ,remove the black plastic trim around the wipers you will see a oval or semi oval surround with a metal screen,you can add one there,i havent seen a direct fit,not even sure what shape the gen 2 is,but have heard of people buying a filter and cutting it to shape,using foam rubber if needed to close any air gaps

I didnt know Gen IIs had a cabin filter, not listed in my book. I will look when it gets a tad warmer.
