I have a question for you guys about the LS Climate Control System. ( 2003 V6).
I have asked the Dealer and other Boards but never got a straight answer. One problem as many of you may already know is the Dealers don't know a lot about this car.
Here's the question.
I have owned Lincolns all my life and I live in Florida. On every other Lincoln I have had on a hot summer day with the Climate Control set to Auto the fan would kick to high automatically when the car was started.
It would blow like crazy until the car cooled itself down. Then the fan would throttle back to a low setting.
The LS has never done that. The car does cool down but not like my other Lincolns.
The fan speed never seems to change very much regardless of how hot the car is inside. If I want it to blow harder I have to manually change the setting.
I asked the Dealer several years ago and their response was , "a Town Car and Continental are different from this car and it is normal for an LS".
So is it normal or is the car supposed to blow like crazy and cut itself back as the car cools down like every other Lincoln I have owned?
If it is supposed to do that can any of you tell me what the problem is? Like I said the dealer is no help so if it needs fixing I am going to have to tell them what to replace.
