Air Conditioner

My Air conditioner compressor comes on for one minute and then shuts off. in order for it to come back on i have to turn the car off and then it will repeat the same process alll over again. It will blow out cold air for a few moments and then the air turns hot. I checked the plug that hooks up to the tank and it is getting juice. i also changed the control unit.

Can anyone help me stay cool?

you might be out of freon?

I put one can of oil and three 12z can of freon. And it still wont work.
