Air Bag Light Blinking

For a couple days now my air bag light illuminates and blinks occassionally. This has never happened before and started on Monday. Has this occurred to anyone here before? I know from experience the LS seems electrically sensitive, but just want some insight. Thanks

yeah, airbags lights usually have something to do with the clockspring in the steering column. My old van :q:q:q:q out clocksprings like every other week... kept thrown the airbag light.

makes sense. watch the light on the dash up by the windshield. does it blink 3 times, then pause, then blink twice?

Yeah Pete, it blinks 3 times then pauses, then blink twice yes

Remember when you replace it to PULL THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE in the trunk. You don't want that airbag going off when you're trying to remove the steering wheel.

If you forget, and the airbag goes off, make sure to post up a pic of your 2 black eyes
