Aftermarket Headunits

Well i have the new head unit in and it is very nice compared to my other one, the feature this one has just make the music sound amazing. But the LS console is so tight it is hard to get all the wires about there. Any suggestion on looseing it up back there?

as you put it all back together you need to slowly push the radio back into to hole and as you do it you need to slide all of the wires and stuff off to the sides, and if there are any modules or separate parts, its best to hide them over top of the glove box

well i currently have 2 10 inch rockford in the trunk, so now i will just put some components that will put out some good mid bass as well as vocals

If you are trying to add vocals then I would say go with a three way speaker. This topic has been covered a lot. I was going to do the same thing by putting some 6x9 subs but I decided to go back with an 12" sub instead. If you already have subs, trust me you are not going to hear the mid bass from those speakers unless you make necessary adjustments to your system. Now if you didn't have the subs then you could put some subs in there but like the poster mention in the earlier thread, you will have to put an bigger amp on them. CDT is a company that make 6x9 subs. I would say just leave it alone and just replace your door speakers. That's how my system is set up and it sounds good. Just my two cents.

if your gonna add full range speaker to the location in the rear deck, i would un-hook the factories in the rear door (since they are in a poor location) and re run the speaker wire to the new location, that way you wont need a new amp to drive them (since the signal being sent to the factory amp is LOW PASS)
