aftermarket headlights for gen1?

Anyone make them? I think i may hack up stock headlights and see what kind of newer technology i can stick in there. I am thinking Ellipsoidal lenses would be neat, since they are very headlights. i can't see anything at night even with the high beams.

that or ill try and see if i can replace the reflectors or rechrome or whatever.

try using the search.........some guy have made and sell adapters to use aftermarket bulbs DLF!!

No adapters needed if he puts a 9005 aftermarket HID kit in his halogen housings. (those housings will need re-chroming and the lenses buffing, though)

If I could ever find another set of Mark Viii lights cheap enough to justify chopping up... I thought about trying to see if I could make my OWN clear lense, and epoxy it in place, and find a dual beam HID set out of a BMW or something and graft it into the housing... that would be killer.
